 St. Peter Sunday School is a place for children ages 3 through Kindergarten to sing, create, and make new friends as they learn about our Church and Jesus' great love for us.  Classes meet in the full-time school classrooms during the 10:00 AM Mass time, so that parents can attend that liturgy.  Children participate in activities in two age groups:  Pre-school for 3/4 year olds and Pre-K/K for 5 and 5+.  Classes include a pre-school religion readiness curriculum that leads right into our religion curriculum in our both our PSR and full-time school.  Music, scripture and lively activities round out the program.   About 40 children currently attend Sunday School.  Classes are held from late September through the beginning of May, except for holiday weekends. 

Sunday School Registration for 2024-25 is available.  We are delighted that our Sunday School Faculty will be returning for the new school year!

 Our loyal Sunday School catechists are parishioners who love children and enjoy sharing their faith with them in the classroom setting.  We are also grateful to our classroom aides, middle school and high students, who volunteer to help with the activities.  On-site coordinator, Barbara Byrd, shares her skills from her regular position as a certified preschool teacher and veteran PSR catechist.
