General Description
The Director of Evangelization and Adult Faith Formation serves the mission of Saint Peter Church by building opportunities for parishioners to grow in their life of prayer, service to the world as disciples, and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with others.
The person in this role is responsible for the organization and administration of Catholic faith-enhancing programs for all adult people in Saint Peter Parish, from the college-aged to senior citizens. Fulfillment of this role's mission will be carried out with direct supervision from the pastor and in collaboration with the parish's leadership staff.
Qualifications
The Director of Evangelization and Adult Faith Formation must be living in full sacramental communion with the Catholic Church. The ideal candidate will possess advanced level degrees in Catholic theology or religious education and has demonstrated success in bringing results to evangelization initiatives. This person must be competent in applying age appropriate catechetical methods and basic program development as well as exhibit skills in interpersonal communication, collaborative ministry, social media and public speaking. Completion of the Prevent and Protect program and appropriate background checks are required. Other Qualifications include:
