Our Pastoral Council serves as a coordinating
and unifying structure of our parish community.
It offers a means of achieving full participation by the whole parish in
the mission of Jesus as revealed in the Gospels. Through proclamation, community, service and
celebration, all council members will have a voice in encouraging, guiding and
directing the various aspects of parish life.
The council is a parish in miniature.
Its members gather the thoughts and ideas of the community and discuss
them until some general agreement has been reached and translate this consensus
into parish goals. They then direct the
actions of the parish community in order to reach the desired goals.
The Pastoral
Council strives to reflect the viewpoints of all people of the parish:
young and old, rich and poor, the laity, religious and clergy. By sharing their expertise, their insights,
their experience and their concerns, the elected members of the council seek to
bring together the needs, anxieties and hopes of all the parishioners. Meetings are held in the evening on the
second Tuesday of each month. All
parishioners are invited to attend.
The Pastoral Council welcomes your
comments and suggestions. We pray our
Lord Jesus and Mary, Our Lady of Wisdom, continue bless the work of our
Pastoral Council and its members as they generously serve our parish. For more information, please call our parish
office. You can find the number by
