"EARN & LEARN" means that every purchase you make will help earn money toward your tuition bill at St. Peter's!

Whenever you make a purchase, that vendor rebates a certain percentage of the sale back to St. Peter.  This new program will credit half that rebate back to your tuition account for the next school year!

EXAMPLE: You buy $100 in grocery certificates every week (52 weeks), which carry a 4% rebate.  This means your tuition bill next school year will be credited $104, with the other $104 still going to the parish.

The more you spend the more you earn.  Use "EARN & LEARN" for groceries and other household purchases such as Hardware stores, Department stores, Restaurants, Specialty Shops, etc.

The procedure for buying certificates is not changing.  You can buy vouchers after Mass on Sunday or at the rectory during business hours.  All you need to do is fill out a registration form (available after Mass) so that we can assign your family an account number and thereby track your purchases by computer.  As a bonus, you will receive credit for purchases by computer.  As a bonus, you will receive credit for purchases retroactive to the beginning of the school year.  This program applies to St. Peter School and PSR students.

For parishioners who do not have children in school, the program doesn't change at all.  100% of the rebates generated by your purchases will continue to go to the parish fund.  However, you may designate that your half of the rebate goes to another family's tuition account (for grandchildren, nieces/nephews, neighbors, etc.).  You can do that all the time, occasionally, or not at all.  It won't cost you anything extra!

Frequently Asked Questions

·        Q: Can we get a check for the amount we have earned?

·        A: We cannot issue checks.  We can only apply your rebate toward your tuition bill.

·        Q: When will the rebate be taken off of my tuition bill?

·        A: In April your tuition credit will be calculated and given to the rectory staff.  They will subtract your Earn & Learn dollars from next year's tuition amount.  If you pay by FACTS, the adjusted amount will be spread over 12 monthly payments, starting in July.

·        Q: Can I start earning toward tuition even though my child is only four?

·        A: The program applies to families of registered St. Peter students in K-8th and PSR.  If your last child at St Peter is in 8th grade, there isn't a way to reimburse your earnings.  You can apply your earnings to another family or100% of the rebate can go to St Peter.

·        Q: If my tuition credit is more than my PSR tuition bill can I use it for the next school year's tuition?

·        A: Balances cannot be carried over from one year to the next.  You can designate that your purchases be applied to another family, or you can let 100% of the rebate go to St Peter.

  • EARN & LEARN is an ongoing parish fundraiser.  Parishioners buy gift certificates for grocery stores, restaurants, and other retailers.  The parish receives 4% of the face value of the certificates.  These certificates are sold at the Earn and Learn office in the OFFM during their office hours: Monday 8:15 - 10:00 am , Wednesday 2:00 - 3:00 pm , Friday 8:15 - 10:00 am, and After all weekend Masses .

This activity requires a lot of volunteers.  The group prepares a schedule for the volunteers on a quarterly basis.  We are providing a copy of the schedule here as a convenience to these volunteers.  If you have any questions, please call the contact person listed on our Ministries page.

Bolded names denote Box Captains:  Please retrieve box from sacristy safe before Mass.   Keep box with you during Mass and then after Communion proceed to set up for sales.   EARN & LEARN sales may start after Mass has ended.   Please return the box to the safe after sales are complete.
