Housing Ministry
Beyond
Housing has a mission to strengthen neighborhoods, one family at a time.
Our Parish has an active ministry to support Beyond
Housing. Our ministry includes several specific activities during the
year:
V Provide upkeep and
repairs for one of the local
V Volunteers
preparing a local house for new tenants
V Participate
in Block Aid, the Beyond Housing City/County-wide annual project. This
event takes place on the first Saturday in October. Last October over 30
St. Peter’s parishioners helped in this effort.
V Support
Beyond Housing’s Christmas adopt-a-family program. Last year our parish ensured that 10 families
were able to open gifts together.
How can you support the Beyond Housing Ministry?
We all have a little time, a little talent and a little
treasure to offer, so we qualify. You can make a difference just by
helping with one of our projects for a few hours.
V Participate
in any of the Beyond Housing activities during the year. Click here to see (and volunteer for)

family or person in a family at Christmas
V You can
greatly impact our ministry’s effectiveness by helping financially.
V Become a
member of the steering committee to help plan and organize our activities each
year.
