you are searching for answers to questions like these, why not join the St.
Peters Men’s Group? The
Men's Group is a small group of men in the parish We
discuss issues that concern our lives, our work, our families, We
use the Catechism of the Catholic Church as our guide. Issues which surface most often: · Why is the Catholic Church the 'one true Church'? · How are we affected by the mystery of Jesus' hidden years? · What is the role of devotion to the Blessed Virgin in our lives? · What is the Church's teaching on social issues such as capital punishment? · How have Pope John Paul II's reforms affected the practice of our faith? · How often are we aware of praying? Daily? · How do the Sacraments, including reconciliation, enrich our lives? · How do we seek "Unity of Life" with Christ? · How are we aware of putting our lives into God's hands? Place: Rectory Basement (Parish Library) Schedule: Every
other Saturday. Our next meeting is on
January 27th.
At this week’s Men’s
Group meeting, we’ll reflect
on the Gospel readings for the day as well as use the new Compendium of the
Catechism as we begin to discuss “The Ten Commandments”. Please join us (the coffee’s always
on): All men of the parish are
