It’s time for St. Peterfest, our annual parish festival, so please mark your calendar and join us!
Friday, May 31: 5 to 11 pm
Saturday, June 1: 1 to 11 pm
Enjoy all of the favorite activities and few new ones, too. There will be something for everyone:
· Carnival Rides for kids and adults of all ages.
· New Games – both skill and chance – including something just for the adults from 9 – 11 pm on Saturday!
· Great food from Stumpy’s Barbecue – featuring pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches along with great hamburgers, hot dogs and brats.
· Drinks to keep you cool – everything from soda and water to wine and beer.
· Great music on Friday and Saturday night. The 80’s Band will perform from 7 – 11 pm on Friday Night. Plus the music from talented musicians in our parish on Saturday afternoon
· And most of all – fellowship and fun with family, friends and neighbors!

Musical Talent Wanted!
The St. Peterfest Music Committee is looking for parishioners who wish to share their musical talent on the Roger Morse Memorial Stage on Saturday, June 1. This is a non-paying event that showcases the musical talent in the parish. This event was a hit last year as people of all ages got up on stage and played for the St. Peter community. Music must be family friendly – time slots will be 45 minutes in length starting at 12:00.

Raffles in 2013!
As in past years, we appreciate your generous support of raffle ticket sales and pull tabs. These raffles contribute greatly to the success of the picnic. The GRAND RAFFLE (also known as the 10K raffle) will sell 300 tickets for $100 each (see enclosed flyer). What a great way to win BIG money! If $100 is too costly for an individual, consider getting a group together to split the ticket and prize. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket, please call Scott Modde at 965-0743, or contact any of the names on the Grand Raffle flyer.
We will also have a 50-50 RAFFLE this year. Tickets are just $5 each and the winner gets 50% of all ticket sales! And PULL TABS will be new and improved. Both of these will be sold at St. Peterfest only – stop by the Raffle Booth to get yours.
We Need YOU!
While these raffles are important, more than anything – we need YOU! The success of our picnic depends on everyone’s help and participation. Please consider sharing your time and talent by volunteering in a booth or helping with set-up or clean up. There are volunteer opportunities for everyone! Tickets and T-Shirts
Ride and Game tickets will be available at the Rectory from May 13 through May 31 from 9 am to 3 pm daily. Pre-sales will end at Noon on May 31. Ride and Game tickets will also be sold after Masses on Memorial Day weekend.
A Parish Family Event
St. Peterfest is a parish family event, and each year, the proceeds from the event help support capital improvements for the entire parish. In the past few years, proceeds have been used to install a remote bell tower controller for use with funerals; weddings etc., and install the new electronic bulletin board in the gathering area. Future needs include replacing the air handlers in Church, a portion of which may be covered by St. Peterfest proceeds. Your participation and support does so much for our parish community.
